So I'm starting to watch the Oscars tonight and they showed top three acceptance speeches. Number two happened to be Tom Hanks accepting an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance as Andrew Beckett in Philadelphia.

ReplyDeleteAnd a) so timely, b) I can't quite tell from the video, but that looks like Emma Thompson presenting the award (she's the star of the film I had originally planned to show), and c) did you catch that glimpse of a young Alec Baldwin?
